Started playing BT in 2012 coming from volleyball. On the sand he stays on the right side, moving quickly up and down the court. Has a regular game, defends well and can attack if necessary.
Mendez Javier
Born in San Juan (PUR) on January 16, 1997
Started playing BT in 2009, adter experiences in basketball and volleyball. On the sand he stays on the left, has good techique and great upside.
Mendez Alfredo
Born in San Juan (PUR) on October 13, 1963
A veteran coming from volleyball, he started playing BT in 2009 and now serves as the Secretary of Beach Tennis Federation of Puerto Rico. On the sand he stays on the left side, his best strokes are defensive ones.
Rivera Beatriz
Born in Carolina (PUR) on September 02, 1987
A former volleybal player and Team Puerto Rico Beach Volley member, she started playing BT in 2010. On the sand she stays on the left, has great defensive skills and knows how to take advantage from her height and timing.
Montilla Gabriel
Born on Santurce (PUR) on August 11, 1978
Was a professional tennis player from 2001 to 2006 and started BT in 2010. On the sand he stays on the left side, has powerful offensive strokes and a good touch for drop shots. Also, he’s a very good singles player.
Andino Elisabeth
Born in San Juan (PUR) on April 14,1992
A promising, lefthanded player who stays on the right side with a regular, solid game. Played volleyball since she was 8 years old. In 2011 she attended BT tournaments and practices as a support to friend Beatriz Rivera and then started playing actively.
Verret Sasha
Born in San Juan (PUR) on July 15, 1985
She played volleyball till 17 and turned to tennis at 18, then started BT in 2009. On the sand, she stays on the right and has regular strokes.
Salas Joseph
Born in San Juan (PUR) on December 19, 1979
After playing volleyball and tennis all his life, he discovered BT. Plays on the left side of the court and he’s more much agile than you can expect from his size.
Rodriguez Orlando
Born in Aibonito (PUR) on November 26, 1983
After having played tennis for more than 10 years, he turned to BT. Plays on the left side, he’ s athletic and agile. Plus, he has a good touch and can change the tempo of the game.
Ochoa Pedro
Born in San Juan (PUR) on August 5, 1976
A tennis instructor who was one of the pioneers of our sport in Puerto Rico. He plays the backhand-right side, but stays on the left in mixed doubles.
Hernandez Miguel
Born in San Juan (PUR) on July 2, 1976
A former High School volleyball player who then played tennis in college. Started playing BT some years ago, becoming soon the main event organizer in Puerto Rico.
